Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Elevate Platform collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. Elevate is a private business tool provided to authorized members of the Elevate Real Estate Team and is not intended for use by the general public.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email, phone, office, role, photo, and login credentials (authentication is handled by Google Firebase).
• Client & contact data — contacts, leads, notes, tasks, and activity you create or import (including from connected CRMs such as Follow Up Boss).
• Transaction data — deal details, documents, financials, and checklist progress you enter for your transactions.
• MLS & listing data — property listing information sourced from the applicable MLS feeds, displayed under the terms of those feeds.
• Integration data — when you connect a service (e.g., Follow Up Boss, Microsoft Outlook/365, Meta, Google, Zillow), we store the tokens and data needed to provide that integration.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information and local browser storage used to keep the app fast and remember your preferences.

2. How we use information

• To operate the platform — your dashboard, listings, CRM, transactions, marketing tools, and reporting.
• To sync and display data from services you connect.
• To send platform notifications and, where you initiate it, marketing emails and social posts to your own audience.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the platform.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your data. Information is shared only: (a) with service providers that power the platform (e.g., Google Firebase for hosting/auth/database, email delivery providers, and integrations you enable); (b) within your team where the feature is designed to be shared (e.g., team announcements, team listings, back-office views available to leaders/admins); and (c) where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

4. Client data & your responsibilities

As a licensed agent, you are responsible for handling your clients' personal information in accordance with applicable law, MLS rules, and your brokerage's policies. Only enter or import client data you are authorized to use.

5. Security

Data is stored with Google Firebase and protected by access rules, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong password and keep your account credentials private.

6. Data retention & deletion

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the platform and meet legal/recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (subject to records that must be retained) — see our Data Deletion page or email support@theelevateagent.com.

7. Cookies & local storage

The platform uses browser local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, cache data for speed, and remember preferences. Disabling these may affect functionality.

8. Facebook & Instagram (Meta) integration

Connecting a Facebook Page or Instagram (Professional) account is optional and is used for a single purpose: to publish marketing content the agent creates in the Elevate Social Media Studio to the accounts the agent chooses. We follow a strict principle of least privilege — we ask for the least access necessary to do that one job, and nothing more:

• Minimum permissions only. We request only the specific permissions required to publish on the agent's behalf and to display which accounts are connected (e.g., the ability to read the list of Pages the agent manages, basic Page/Instagram account details such as name and profile photo, and permission to publish posts, Reels, and Stories). We do not request permissions beyond what publishing requires.
• Only Pages you explicitly authorize. We access only the Facebook Pages and linked Instagram accounts the agent explicitly selects and grants during the Facebook login flow. We do not access any other Pages, accounts, or content.
• Never private messages. We do not request, access, read, or store Facebook or Instagram direct messages, inboxes, or any private messaging content.
• Never personal profile content. We do not access an agent's personal Facebook profile, friends list, personal timeline, photos, or any personal (non-Page) content. The integration is limited to the agent's professional Pages and Instagram business accounts used for marketing.

The resulting access tokens and connected-account identifiers are encrypted and stored securely (Google Firebase, scoped to the agent's own account), solely to publish the content the agent composes. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising targeting, or share it with third parties beyond Meta as strictly required to deliver the agent's own posts. Agents can disconnect the integration at any time, which immediately revokes and deletes the stored tokens.

Disconnecting & data deletion. An agent can disconnect any account at any time in the Social Media Studio (Channels → Remove), which immediately deletes the stored tokens for that account. Removing the app from your Facebook settings, or submitting a request on our Data Deletion page, also deletes the tokens and connected-account records we hold for you. 9. Google account integrations (Gmail & Google Calendar)

When an agent chooses to connect a Google (Gmail or Google Workspace) account, the platform requests only the access needed to deliver the features the agent enables, using the following Google API scopes:

• Send email on your behalf (gmail.send) — so marketing campaigns and follow-up emails the agent composes in Elevate are sent from the agent's own Gmail address, land in the agent's Sent folder, and let recipients reply directly to the agent. We only send messages the agent initiates; we do not read, search, or store the contents of the agent's mailbox.
• Calendar access (calendar, calendar.events) — so events the agent creates in Elevate (e.g., floor time, appointments) can be written to, and read from, the agent's Google Calendar.
• Basic identity (openid, email, profile) — to identify which Google account is connected and display its email address.

We store the resulting OAuth refresh token privately and securely (Google Firebase, scoped to the agent's own account) solely to provide these features. We never store the agent's Google password. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as needed to deliver the agent's own requested sends/calendar actions.

Limited Use disclosure. Elevate Real Estate Team LLC's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Disconnecting & data deletion. An agent can disconnect their Google account at any time from Profile → Sending Mailbox (Disconnect), which immediately deletes the stored token. To request deletion directly, email support@theelevateagent.com.

10. Text messages (SMS)

Elevate sends optional text alerts to agents and staff of Elevate Real Estate Team LLC — for example, when a new lead is assigned to them, when an open house needs a host, when an administrator updates one of their requests, or when an onboarding task becomes available. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text clients or leads.

Consent is opt-in. Text alerts are off by default. An agent turns them on themselves in the platform under Profile → Notifications by ticking the SMS box for each alert type they want. Consent is never assumed from signing up, and is not a condition of employment or of using the platform.

Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts immediately, or untick the SMS boxes in Profile → Notifications. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with activity.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and consent status are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing. They are disclosed only to the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf, solely to transmit the message, and to no one else.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
