Working as a realtor is not about selling houses, it’s about people and the relationships you develop. My clients are often making one of the biggest decisions of their lives, and have entrusted me to guide them through the process, advocate on their behalf and diligently work to ensure the transaction is successful with their best interests in mind. I love this part of my job and believe that my past career experience helps me to balance both the transaction and the emotional aspects, be patient, and see the brighter side in some often stressful moments.
My background is in non-profit management. With a Master’s degree in public administration, my previous career afforded me the opportunity to fully engage in both the business requirements and the philanthropic and fundraising aspects of charitable organizations. I learned very early that people are motivated by their passions and intrinsically seek fulfillment from helping one another in so many ways. I was blessed with the opportunity to work toward small daily goals to make a difference in the lives of others. Now, I carry this ideology forward in a completely different field with the understanding that our home is a reflection of who we are and shapes the foundation of our lifestyle, comforts, and sense of security.
In my spare time, my husband and I are often found spending time with our rescued pets. We are the proud parents of dog and cat children that make our home an action-filled adventure in constant need of vacuuming, but worth every minute. As an agent, I have made it a point to consider the needs of our non-human family members and work hard to educate my buyers and sellers about how the exciting changes will impact our four legged friends and how we can help to ease the transition to a new environment.
